AWESOME, AWESOME, AWESOME,
WE BOUGHT THIS TO MOUNT OUR NEW 46 INCH HDTV ON OUR FAMILY ROOM WALL. MY HUSBAND HAD IT COMPLETELY MOUNTED WITHIN AN HOUR AND TOTALLY RECONNECTED. WE LOVE THE ABILITY TO PULL OUT, ANGLE DOWN OR UP AND SIDE TO SIDE TO IMPROVE THE VIEW FROM ANY OF OUR 4 RECLINERS IN THE ROOM. THE TILT ALLOWS ANY GLARE TO BE ELIMINATED, AND THE FACT IT SETS OUT A BIT FROM THE WALL MAKES IT EASY TO HIDE THE MANY CABLES AND CORDS. WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT AS IT IS A HIGH QUALITY AND STURDY ITEM THAT WE TOTALLY TRUST TO HOLD UP OUR TELEVISION FOR A LONG, LONG TIME.

Weight Support Claim is a Lie!,
I bought this mount because it claimed to be able to support up to 45 kg (100 lbs). Also, I preferred a mount that would only be drilled into a single wall stud. After reading the item description that the mount was designed for brick and concrete walls, I figured it should be able to work for wood studs based on the picture. When I received the item, I soon realized that it required some modification (drilling new holes on the wall plate) because the holes of the wall plate are spaced too far apart for a typical wood stud. Once I got the mount up on the wall, I ran into a problem with the mobility of the mount because the arm was hitting the provided lag screws where I drilled the new holes. Fortunately, I had thinner lag screws that allowed clearance of the arm to swing freely. However, the biggest disappointment came when I mounted my 42 inch Panasonic plasma tv (weighing only 44 lbs). The mount obviously cannot support a tv that heavy as the joints begin to stress, especially the further you extend the tv from the wall. The tv tilts to one side when extended, but it is straight (level) if you push it all the way against the wall. This is a poor quality mount made in China. It will probably work okay for smaller (lighter) tvs. If you are planning to mount anything above 30 lbs and/or on a wood stud, I highly recommend buying a different mount.

Not for a heavy TV,
I will give this item 4 stars because of the ease of install especially with the integrated level. The item list says 47″ but the box says up to 42″. I put a 60 lb (box says up to 99lbs) and it is stressing the elbow joint. For the price this would be a great buy for a lighter TV.
